Three steps

Each step produces a defined output. Step 02 turns an unknown portfolio into a count you can budget. Step 03 uses that structure to review the evidence and produce the first finished file.

02 · Portfolio structure

Structure the data

  • Every packaging component listed, with material, weight and supplier
  • Components grouped into packaging units, including multipacks and shipping packaging
  • Each unit linked to the SKUs it carries, so any product sold in the EU traces to the right file
  • Your existing documents mapped to the components they cover
  • The unit count, which tells you what the remaining units cost

This is inventory and grouping: it tells you what you have and creates the structure required for Step 03.

03 · Finished output

Document the first DoC

  • Evidence reviewed per component for one packaging unit, with what is missing named
  • Substance position for that unit under Articles 5(1), 5(4) and 5(5)
  • Technical file built and retained for five years
  • Declaration drafted for your authorised signatory to sign
  • Each further packaging unit: €1,800

Requires the structure from Step 02. Optional software to manage declarations, technical files and supplier evidence instead of spreadsheets is quoted separately.

How it fits

02 is inventory and grouping. 03 is judgment and output. Structure the data to understand the portfolio; then review whether the evidence is enough and produce the file. Further units are quoted once the count is confirmed.
